Flat Roofs

Capitol Roofing will ensure that your roof has the correct decking, insulation, adequate ventilation and membranes to meet your requirements.

Materials

We install Pluvitec polymer bitumen waterproofing membrane.  This is a superior three layer system from Italy. 

The UK distributor offers 10, 15 & 20 year insurance backed guarantees, in addition to Capitol Roofing's own guarantees.

Refelting

Before replacing failed felting, we thoroughly check that the  base is sound and that there has been no water damage to decking that could weaken it.  If replacement decking is required, we use  exterior grade plywood or pressure treated timber boarding. 

Slate Roofs

We carry out traditional natural slating work on a wide range of domestic properties.

For refurbishment work, we are careful to closely match the existing slates using reclaimed materials as this often gives the most sensitive restoration.

Tiled Roofs

We have a great deal of experience in working with tiles of various kinds, including

• Pin-tiles, both on pitched and hanging. These are flat and 'pinned' to the roof timbers.

• Pantiles.  These often have a wave like appearance, with one side of each tile overlapping its neighbour. 

• Interlocking Tiles.  These are more modern and lock into each other either side and top and bottom.

We are experienced in working with all types of clay tiles and concrete tiles.

Lead Work

Traditional lead work is a speciality, including valleys, box valleys, flashing etc.
